Looks good to me! And I don't think anyone needs to "create" a negative image of militia groups--that perspective is already out there and isn't likely to change regardless of what NBC does. From the trailer doesn't seem like the shows stretching anything too much. Likely in a real disaster like this a number of "militia groups" would rise up and I'm sure many would be pretty oppressive and probably fight against one another. You can see this happen in any country in the period between a government's collapse and the time it takes for a new government to secure control. Its naive to think that the US would be much different.
Part hunger games, jericho, underworld and walking dead sans unnatural things (although the alien looking keyfob has me wondering) It will all come down to the acting and writing. Its NBC- anyone's guess!
the keyfob thing looked to be a usb drive at one point in the video but it is hard to tell. I will have to watch it to see how it works out. you are right, its NBC so I dont expect much but you never know, even a blind pig will find an acorn sometimes.
heres my question obviously it wasnt a e emp i didnt see one nuke detonated and a emp wouldnt stop earlier vehicles and they said engines wouldnt start hmmmmmmmmmmm i dont know what to think im going to watch for sure looks intresting to say the least and makes me want to buy a crossbow that much more .
Agreed. Batteries don't work in this world either..and they run on chemical energy. You'd need a weapon or effect that stopped the flow of electrons for that to pan out in reality, and that's really unlikely. Then again, "Walking Dead" also requires a willing suspension of disbelief...
Evidently you havent been paying enough attention to NBC or those who fund it but believe in your fantasy.. its your choice.. besides, based on the commentary you've already succumbed.
Just an attempt by the NBC media group to create a fantasized negative image of militia groups..
ReplyDeletePravda would be proud of their offspring's advances in social engineering.

Yes, NBC has spent millions of dollars to create a show with the purpose of tarnishing the stellar public image of militia groups. Certainly.

DeleteRead the book: Directive 51 - nano technology sabotages anything with plastic or rubber.
ReplyDeleteWill they bring back the big black smoke monster form Lost?
ReplyDeleteThey have to put some kind of goofy off the wall twist in there.
I'd love to see some nods to Lost. Maybe a cameo from Benjamin Linus?
